MASS Polytechnic College is situated on the Chennai Highway, 11km from Kumbakonam. It is run by M.A.S. Subbaiah Chettiar Educational and Charitable Trust. The College is a Co-Educational Institution with a built-in area of 42,000 sq.ft and with fully equipped Labs. The college library has a good stock of books and journals on various topics and titles. The college has a vast playground and very good coaching is provided to the deserving students in a number of games and sports. The college strives to promote the students in a sense of responsibility for their own development and an understanding of their obligations as members of a democratic society.
The college fasters the students in desire to learn, the ability to think rationally and express themselves effectively, the habit of analytical and reflective thought and an awareness of themselves their heritage other cultures and their environment. Special classes are taken to help the weak students and to improve spoken English and communication skills. The teachers and the taught are encouraged to take part in many seminars held at the Inter collegiate level. Placement wing is available and 100% result is assured. Financial help to the children’s of Agriculturalist and Agricultural laborers is provided. The college has many numbers of buses covering most of the nearby places and thereby it caters to the needs of the backward and rural students. Very nominal fees alone are collected.
All the available financial help namely for BC, MBC and SC scholarship from the government of Tamilnadu, Bank loan and students bus pass etc., are made available to the needy all eligible students. Mass Polytechnic College was established in the year 2007. The College offers Diploma program in numerous specializations and the admission is on the basis of Merit. Candidates can apply to this College online. It is approved by AICTE and affiliated to DOTE, Chennai. College offers 6 diploma courses at present and all courses are co-education.
Admission Policy
1) Through advertisement in the newspaper, eligible candidates for the polytechnic commences are called upon to submit their application for the further process
2) Candidates should enclose the attested copies of certificates with their application.
